I've mentioned before I'm working on my query letter. I've sent it through the wringer a few times, tweak it when and where necessary, you know the drill. One problem I've encountered is finding the appropriate genre or sub category to shove my manuscript into. I was labelling it dystopian since some sites say anything involving life after an apocalypse falls into that category, but I've decided to go out on a ledge and just let it be what it is--post apocalyptic young adult. I've now seen that listed as a sub genre so I'm going with it, I guess that was the confirmation I needed.
