Six Little Words

breath, Protector, rage, river, rock, beast

Can you describe your ms or WiP in six words or less? I saw this over at Ladies Who Critique and thought it was a fun challenge. Pick six words that are key to your story, write them down, print them out, cut them apart, rearrange them, make a word cloud at Wordle , whatever you can do to sum up your thousands and thousands and thousands of words and hundreds and hundreds of pages of beautiful prose in six little words.

Here are a few I came up with for my ms

What do you think?  Which one did you like best?

What did you come up for your six words?

I warn you, word clouds are addicting!

  2. Oh dear, they ARE addictive! :)

I just created a few word clouds off of the top of my head without giving it too much thought. I went with whatever came to mind first when running through my ms plot. Hmm. Very interesting indeed.

By the way, I vote for: Can you control the calling?

    1. Thanks Joshua :)
I'm thinking word clouds are a good editing tool also. A few lame words really showed up in one of my clouds. It gave me a list to search and destroy them in my ms.

    2. Hopet, great new nickname for me Cassie! Like Smurfette!

No worries on the T Angela :) I blame my husband for giving me a name destined to be messed up:) I'm thinking somewhere along the line one of his ancestors was drunk or something and wrote it down wrong, forgetting the T, and it stuck ;) And not only the T part, you don't even say it like Rober(t)son. It's pronounced with a long O, ROberson, I repeat it all the time :) Names, names, names, you can't win ;)
