Africa is my ultimate dream destination. I want to see elephants, elephants, elephants.
Maybe some zebras galloping along the savanna, giraffes nibbling high branches, possibly a big cat or two (snuggling preferably).
Do you want to go to Africa? Have you been there?

My mum and step-dad went to Africa some years ago, and took some gorgeous photos. It seems like a wonderful place to visit.
ReplyDeleteI imagine the pictures would be incredible!
DeleteI don't think I would enjoy a trip to Africa, though I would love the chance to get close to giraffes! :D
ReplyDeleteThe giraffes would so cool to watch!
DeleteI have never been there but I'd really love to go someday.
ReplyDeleteIt's a big destination :)
DeleteElephants are my most favorite animal. I think they are so so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMy family lived in Angola for many years, which is where I was born, though I don't remember it because we moved back to Portugal when I was just a few months old. I've always dreamed of going back. Some day.
So cool that you've lived in different countries! Elephants are my favorite animal too :)
DeleteNow is this a creative way to participate. I LOVE IT! :) And I so much love your first pic you chose of the elephants in the sunset. To me, this is Africa! :D
ReplyDeleteJust to see that once, that would be amazing!
DeleteI've never been to Africa and it's never been a place I've considered going to, but now that I think about it, it would make a very interesting holiday! Great post, I love the pictures :)

ReplyDeleteI hope to take my kids some day :)
DeleteThose are beautiful pictures. I love animal pictures. I think Africa would be amazing to visit, but the political unrest is scary!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean Lara! I think Disney does a safari vacation in Africa somewhere. That sounds like a safe way to go :) Then my kids could go too!
DeleteNo Elephant on a soccer ball? ;)
ReplyDeleteShucks, should have put that on here next to the monkey in a diaper ;)
DeleteI've never been, but it's on my bucket list. Those pictures are great. I love the big cats snuggling. :-)
ReplyDeleteMe too :)
DeleteMy dad and brother went there years ago. Brought back fun stories and pictures. I think Africa would be an interesting place to visit, but I have so many more places I'd like to go to first.
ReplyDeleteLucky them!
DeleteYeah, you definitely don't want those big cats coming after you. :) Snuggling is good.
ReplyDeleteI'd LOVE to go to Africa. Heck, I'd pretty much like to go anywhere...
You probably have enough air mile ;)

DeleteThe only part of Africa that I've been to is Egypt, but that's more like the Middle East than the 'real' Africa. I'd like to go on a safari sometime.
ReplyDeleteEgypt is my E :) I guess I could spend quite a bit of time in Africa :)
DeleteI have always wanted to go to Africa. I think it started with the Lion King when I was a little kid, but alas I have yet to get over there! Great post!
ReplyDeleteEvery time my kids watch that I want to go! :)
DeleteI sooo want to go to Africa! I think I'll follow you around the world during the Challenge! Let me go pack my virtual bag... Where are we going tomorrow?

I would love to go to Africa. I wanted to go even more (particularly to Kenya) after seeing the incredible German film 'Nowhere in Africa,' based on Stefanie Zweig's memoirs of her family's stay in Kenya during WWII. There's some gorgeous scenery, and so many beautiful animals.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it, but every time any image of an African savanna shows up I start daydreaming about going :)
DeleteI've never been. I wouldn't mind going but there are so many other places I'd want to go to first. I do love giraffes though :-)
ReplyDeleteThey'd be cool to watch!
DeleteMy grandfather was a missionary's kid and lived in Africa as a child up until his late teen years. Whenever I visit him, it's a history lesson about Africa! Love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this post! See you for B! :D
I bet they're great stories!
DeleteDUDE! that would be sooooo awesome! never been there, but it looks sooooo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI know right?! So want to go!

Nice to meet you :)
DeleteWhat about hippos? Don't you want to see them? I'd love to see a hippo or Africa, but I'm a little too afraid of Africa to pluck up the courage to go there.
ReplyDeleteI do want to see hippos! But they're in the water, then maybe there would be crocodiles :(
DeleteI would also love to see elephants in the wild! Elephants are my E for A-Z!

It always looks gorgeous but don't know if I'd want to see all those wild animals too close up! LOL.
ReplyDeleteAfrica would be amazing - got to see those landscapes. I'm not sure I'd enjoy the heat but I'd have to put up with it to see the aminules!
