Around the World in 26 Letters--French Riviera

The colors, the beaches, the history (I'm not really a fan of history), who wouldn't want to travel where kings and queens travel?

I've wanted to go since the first time I watched To Catch a Thief, and I've seen it a few times so I really want to go! Cary Grant cruises along with Grace Kelley in a convertible, all the while she suspects him of being a famous cat burgler but falls in love with him despite this. Classic. I assume this happens to everyone when they visit the French Riviera :)

Cannes

Marseille

 Monaco

Nice

Saint-Tropez

Have you been to any of these places?

  1. Not been there, but I really should as it isn't so far away from my home on the south coast of England!

  3. I was in Nice once--for only one day. I would LOVE to go on a cruise of the Riviera--or more so the whole Mediterranean: Greece, Italy, Spain, Turkey. That would be a dream cruise.

  15. It amazes me that people get to actually live in a place this beautiful. How do they get anything accomplished?

  16. I've driven up from Italy to France along the Riviera. I was a bit too tired and grumpy at the time to really appreciate it, but I did still recognise its beauty :)
